COACHING & LESSONS

MEET OUR PGA PROFESSIONAL

DUSTIN ARNOLD

Hi there! Over my 26 years in the game of golf and 15 years as a member of the PGA of America, I’ve been fortunate to work across many areas of the industry, from Top 100 clubs and leading instruction programs to contributing at TrackMan, the world’s leader in golf technology. Through these experiences, I have learned from some of the best minds in the game and worked with players of all skill levels from beginners to PGA Tour players. Each interaction has deepened my understanding of how golfers learn, improve, and find more enjoyment in the game.

Whether you’re looking to build a more consistent swing, lower your scores, or simply have more fun playing, I’m excited about helping you reach your goals through a personalized, data-driven approach!

PGA Professional Coach, Dustin Arnold at The Old Course in St. Andrews

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR LESSON

My goal as a coach is simple: to help each individual play better golf and understand how to improve so they can enjoy the game more. Every golfer learns and swings differently, so my instruction is always tailored to the individual for effective, lasting results.

By combining a personalized coaching style with data-driven feedback and the best technology available, we can measure progress accurately while still encouraging players to “swing their swing” safely and efficiently.

Player development begins with a structured plan that prioritizes fundamentals before moving into more technical details and mechanics. Throughout the lesson plan, we incorporate mindset training to help players manage expectations, course management skills through interactive virtual course sessions, and performance-based discussions to connect learning with real results.

Lessons start in a relaxed, supportive environment to build comfort and confidence, then evolve into a more competitive setting to ensure the player’s skills hold up under pressure. Trust, open communication, and mutual understanding form the foundation of effective coaching, allowing the player to feel confident in who’s guiding their swing changes, clearly understand the “why” behind each adjustment, and maintain ownership of their improvement process.

Success isn’t defined by score alone, it’s about confidence, enjoyment, comfort, and many other factors. True progress is when a player can not only perform better but also understand their own swing, recognizing what caused a poor shot and knowing how to self-correct moving forward.
